Bi Weekly Mortgage Payment

I noticed that time seems to move faster as we get older and I have come to the determination that this sense is due to monthly bills. As we accumulate more debt we find ourselves saying, ?My bills are due already? That month flew by!? You may wonder why someone like me would want a bi weekly mortgage payment. You would think that this would really make time soar.

However, I chose this approach for a simple reason: principal. A person who pays a bi weekly mortgage payment will pay less interest throughout the life of the loan. More money is added to the principal that shrinks relatively quickly compared to its monthly counterpart. However, finding a bank that was willing to give me a bi weekly mortgage payment was a little challenging.

Way back when I worked for a loan company. I was taken back by the amount of interest people pay over the course of a loan. This really made me do my homework on making the right selections for myself. Not only did I want to score a fixed interest rate. I wanted a low interest rate and I wanted a bi weekly mortgage payment.

My interest in the bi weekly mortgage payment started while I was at work at the loan company. One of our customers personally delivered his bi weekly mortgage payment every other week. The principal on his loan shrunk much quicker than the principal on regular monthly options.

Granted, I was only a clerk who processed payments but I stilled learned a great deal about interest. However, I also discovered that not all loans are created the same. Some bi weekly mortgage payment plans really do little to shrink interest over the course of the loan. Also, some banks do not allow customers to split the payments into smaller increments.

If you consider your own traits and personality you can decide if a bi weekly mortgage payment is right for you. Some of us prefer to write two smaller checks every two weeks rather than building the strength it requires writing out one big check at the beginning of the month.

Many of us can?t remember to make payments that are spread too far apart. One of the things that are appealing about a bi weekly mortgage payment is that I can pay my mortgage right after I deposit my paycheck. This is a great approach to insuring that even the most forgetful in these fleeting times remembers his mortgage.

Monthly Mortgage Payment Calculator

Buying a home can pose some real challenges that may make some potential buyers a little leery. One of the biggest areas of concern is whether or not the family can afford their home loan payments each month. Before signing any papers, you may want to use a monthly mortgage payment calculator to estimate your installment amount.

You may have found your dream home but you really want to make sure that you don?t get in over your head. Having the ability to estimate how much your home loan will be each month is a great benefit for anyone shopping for real estate. A monthly mortgage payment calculator is the perfect tool for providing a rough estimate.

The estimate will be a little rough because you homeowners and payment protection insurance will not be calculated by the monthly mortgage payment calculator. If you choose to purchase insurance you really want to make sure that you have room for the additional money required each month for this as well.

Also, many homeowners who have property tax like to include this obligation in their mortgage payment each month to avoid having a large sum to pay at the end of the year. Property tax is not included in the monthly mortgage payment calculator, either. If you live in a state that requires property tax, you want to consider this too.

As a rule of thumb I would not choose to take on a loan that will force me to live paycheck to paycheck. Sometimes you may want to reconsider buying your dream home if the monthly mortgage payment calculator offers a sum that is too high for your capacity.

The loan company should warn against cutting things too close but you really want to look into the big picture on your own. After figuring in your insurance and taxes into the monthly mortgage payment calculator you also want to weigh the total with other payment obligation as well.

One of those obligations is your savings. Are you able to put at least 10 percent of your income into savings every month when all is said and done? If not, you might want to look for a less expensive home or a debt consolidation loan. Preparing for your future is an integral part of financial security.

We all have dream homes and it can be a real heartbreak when we find that the monthly mortgage payment calculator indicates that we might be getting too deep into debt. After all, it is better to live a comfortable dream life than live in an empty dream home.

Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance

Mortgage payment protection insurance is a must for nearly everyone who is purchasing a house. Your home is usually the largest investment that you will make in your entire life. In order to protect that investment it is wise to adopt a mortgage payment protection insurance plan into your monthly budget.

Many people fail to invest in this kind of protection but you really don?t want to lose your house and you also don?t want to lose all of the money you invested in your home over the years. Considering that a significant financial setback could devastate your chances of recovering you definitely wan to get mortgage payment protection insurance.

Imagine making regular monthly installments on your large home loan for a few years only to lose the house because you are unable to keep up with the debt because of an unexpected setback. You not only lose your home but you also lose all of the money you spent on monthly installments as well.

This kind of loss can be devastating and your chance of recovering from such a financial disaster is pretty slim. Choosing to adopt mortgage payment protection insurance will insure that your investment is adequately protected. If you are unable to meet your monthly obligations you are covered thorough the plan.

The great thing about mortgage payment protection insurance is that it can be included in your monthly house loan installment. You may never notice the extra money you spend because it is part of one payment. This approach is wonderful for many who love having the added protection without the added check to write each month.

Being prepared for anything is a good idea. Choosing to protect the biggest investment you will ever make is pure logic. A mortgage payment protection insurance plan will give you peace of mind. You are sure that you will never have to worry about meeting this particular monthly obligation.

My husband and I opted to add a mortgage payment protection insurance policy right into our loan. We never notice the insurance bill because it is integrated into or monthly home loan installment. The cost is minimal and we know that we will be protected if an unfortunate event makes paying on our loan impossible.

Of course, we hope that we will never need to use the service that the mortgage payment protection insurance offers. However, it is wonderful to know that we are covered in case of an emergency.

Mortgage Payments

If there is one thing that may strike fear in the heart of any adult, it might just be a mortgage payment. Most people dream of owning in their own home, but they may not be able to afford it for many reasons. Even if you can afford it, you may not have the credit to get what you want. You may think that if you can afford to pay what you now pay in rent, you may have to rethink that. There are many costs involved with owning a home that you may not have considered.

You mortgage payment should ideally be one fourth of your income. Anything more than that, you may soon fall behind in your payments, which will of course mean that you may lose your house. That?s the last thing you want to happen. You also have to factor in everything that your current landlord takes care of for you. If something breaks, all you have to do is call and your landlord has to get it fixed. This means if the water pipes burst, they have to get someone right away. If the heat goes on the blink, it is no money out of your pocket. When you have your own mortgage payment however, you also have to pay for all of these things on your own. Can you afford that?

You also have to factor in property taxes when thinking about how much you can afford for a mortgage payment. You will have to pay these once a year, though it may be due twice or four times a year depending on where you live. This money is above and beyond what you pay for in your mortgage payment, and this can quickly put you in debt. If you are barely making it with your mortgage, your taxes are going to do you in for sure.

If you really don?t know what to do, or if you can afford to have a mortgage payment, you may want to talk to someone at your bank. They can help you decide what you can afford, and they may have ideas about how you can fix your credit, or perhaps help you set up a savings plan to help defer some of the costs of homeownership at a later date. If you have some put aside in savings, emergencies won?t make you dip into your budget, and you will still be able to make your mortgage payments on time.
